I work from a depth perspective which means that therapy is about exploring the root causes of behavior, often making way for true understanding and significant, long-lasting change. I see individuals, couples, and families dealing with big life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and intimacy issues. I come from a psychodynamic and Jungian perspective and my practice is deeply rooted in attachment theory. I firmly believe that feeling understood can give way to healing.
Finding the right fit is such an important piece of this process. My style is direct and compassionate. I may also offer observations about how clients interact with me; our therapeutic relationship can be so enlightening. My ultimate goal is to offer a safe space for my clients to honestly—and freely—explore their ways of being.
I offer a free 30 minute in person session to give you a chance to see if we are the right fit. I look forward to meeting you and hearing your story.
Hi, I'm Roxy and I am an Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in LA. I grew up here in Los Angeles as a first generation American. I earned my master's degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles with a emphasis in spiritual and depth psychology. Prior to graduate school I earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Boston University.
I received extensive training at The Women's Clinic Counseling Center in West Los Angeles, where I worked with a diverse range of individual adults, and couples for three years. I also worked in the Santa Monica Malibu school district as a school based therapist, where I treated children, families, and groups. I have been seeing clients in private practice since 2019.
